About the estate
The Domaine des Brosses winery looks back on a history dating back to the 19th century and was established in 1943 by Denis Barrot. Today, the estate covers a vineyard area of over 19 hectares across well-exposed hillside plots between Saint-Jean-des-Vignes, Morancé, and Chazay-d'Azergues in the historic Beaujolais region. The portfolio includes red and rosé Beaujolais wines alongside Bourgogne Blanc and Crémant de Bourgogne. Farming is certified under the HVE3 standard, incorporating environmental management practices and manual harvesting. Managed through successive family generations, the winery emphasizes careful vineyard stewardship in harmony with nature.
