About the estate
The Domaine des Béguineries estate is located in Chinon in the Loire Valley and was established in 1995 by Jean-Christophe Édouard Pelletier. Following early experience with other producers, the winemaker now cultivates both family plots and his own vineyards on predominantly south-facing clay-limestone slopes. Farming is conducted organically with manual harvesting and rigorous mechanical work in the vineyards. Wine maturation takes place in a tuffeau cellar, complemented by a winemaking facility inaugurated in 2009.
