About the estate
The Domaine de Prapin estate looks back on a family history that began in 1890 with the planting of the first vines following the phylloxera crisis in Taluyers. Today, the estate cultivates ten hectares of vineyards on granitic gneiss soils in the heart of the Coteaux du Lyonnais. The grape varieties include Chardonnay and Gamay within the appellation, alongside other varieties as Vin de France. Viticulture is certified organic and biodynamic according to Demeter standards. The vinification and ageing of the wines are carried out in a traditional manner, which includes the use of amphorae.
