About the estate
The Domaine Champs de Lalande estate has been managed from father to son since 1975 and is situated in the center of the AOC Lalande de Pomerol appellation. The vineyard covers an area of one hectare on clayey and clay-gravelly soils. The planted grape varieties consist of 90 percent Merlot, five percent Cabernet Franc, and five percent Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyards are ploughed, and all vineyard management tasks as well as the harvest are carried out manually. The wine is aged for 18 months in tanks with partial maturation in oak barrels, and the bottling takes place directly at the estate.
