About the estate
The Domaine Camus Frères estate is located on the Colline de Vézelay, where viticulture dates back to Gallo-Roman times and was expanded by Benedictine monks in the ninth century. The terroir is predominantly clay and limestone, featuring the notable parcel known as Le Clos des Ducs. White wines are produced from Chardonnay, while red and rosé wines are made from Pinot Noir. The history of this vineyard area is closely tied to the development of the Burgundy region and its monastic traditions.
