The De Frysling estate is a family business founded in 2009 in the Netherlands, managed by Douwe and Jantiene Broersma. The winery is located at the 53rd parallel in Twijzel, sheltered by tree walls and alder hedges within the Frisian forest landscape. The vineyards grow on fertile sandy soils near the Wadden Sea. Due to this unique geographical location and the surrounding centuries-old pingo ruins, the fungus-resistant grape varieties develop a distinct flavor.
