About the estate
Founded in 1952, Cooperativa Cellatica Gussago is the only wine cooperative in Franciacorta formed exclusively by small landowners. The vineyards extend across the municipalities of Cellatica, Gussago, Rodengo Saiano, Concesio, and Brescia on diverse soils characterized by clay and various rock formations. The portfolio features historic local red wines such as Cellatica Superiore DOC alongside single-varietal Franciacorta DOCG sparkling wines crafted as Blanc de Blancs with extended yeast aging. Viticulture is conducted using integrated management practices with reduced pesticide use and a strong emphasis on environmental sustainability.
