About the estate
The Contesa Vini estate was founded in 1998 by Rocco Pasetti and is run today alongside his sons Franco and Pierpaolo, representing five generations of winemaking tradition. The vineyards cover a total area of 45 hectares across the hills of Pescara in the Abruzzo region and are managed entirely through organic and regenerative farming practices. The grape varieties cultivated include the local Montepulciano, Pecorino, Trebbiano, Passerina, Cococciola, and Sangiovese, which express the diversity of soils, altitudes, and microclimates across the sites. The portfolio features wines under the Colline Pescaresi IGT and Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC denominations.
The eno directory lists 4 wines, mostly from Montepulciano and Pecorino.
