About the estate
The Condado de Haza winery was founded in 1972 and is located in Roa, Burgos, surrounded by a vast Tempranillo vineyard. The structure of the estate, which spans 200 hectares of vineyards, was excavated into a hill, creating a deep tunnel-shaped bottle rack for optimal maturation conditions. Since 1993, the property has operated as a 360-degree estate where the entire life cycle of the wine takes place on heterogeneous soils dominated by clays and sands. The wines belong to the Ribera del Duero DO denomination and are produced through organic methods.
