Clos des Abbesses

About the estate

Since 2016, the Fanara family has been caring for the historic Château Clos des Abbesses estate located in Saint Sulpice de Faleyrens, Bordeaux. The vineyards are managed with respect for the environment on sandy-gravelly and clay-limestone soils. The portfolio includes wines from the Saint-Emilion, Saint Emilion Grand Cru, and Bordeaux Rosé appellations. The grape varieties Merlot and Cabernet Franc form the basis for the wines, which are aged either in vats or in oak barrels depending on the cuvée.
