About the estate
The Château Pomeaux is situated on the southeastern slope of the Pomerol plateau and covers 2.2 hectares of vineyards within the AOC Pomerol denomination. Historically part of Château Taillefer, the vineyards were acquired by the current owner in 1998. The estate is planted entirely with Merlot Noir, with vines averaging 45 years of age. The property has been cultivated organically and biodynamically since 2001, employing hand-harvesting, meticulous selection, and extended ageing before release. The wines are available exclusively direct from the property.

Extraordinarily rich and robust with elegant balance and a delicate and marvellous bouquet. Bursting with black cherry and plum flavours, developing truffle, chocolate, and cedar notes over time.
