About the estate
Having existed for over a century, the Château Pierron estate is among the oldest properties in Buzet and is situated on the heights of Nérac. The 26-hectare contiguous vineyard extends across a large plateau with gentle slopes and complex clay-limestone soils. The terroir benefits from a privileged geographical and climatic position nestled between the Baïse and Gélise rivers. For winemaking, the estate utilizes the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery is committed to sustainable practices through integrated pest management and is a member of the Vignerons Indépendants.
