About the estate
The Château Mondazur estate in Creysse in the Bergerac region emerged from a friendship between three childhood friends from the Périgord who united to create an exceptional wine. The founders include the trained winemaker Hugh Ryman, the investment banker François Guichot-Perere, and François-Xavier de Saint-Exupéry, who contributes his extensive experience with the Pécharmant terroir. The estate's name pays homage to the famous blue clay that constitutes the majority of the property's subsoil. This geological feature is considered a hallmark of the finest wines in Aquitaine.
