About the estate
The Château Mazails estate has been managed for four generations by the Chacun family, who are devoted to the wines of the Médoc. The property was purchased by Gabriel Chacun in 1931, and the quality of its wine earned it the title of Cru Bourgeois in 1932. Jacques Chacun succeeded him in 1942, and Philippe Chacun has run the operations with his family since 1986.
