About the estate
Located in the Haut-Médoc, Château Maucamps was first mentioned in 1850 and looks back on a long heritage. In 1954, Gisèle Tessandier acquired the estate and left a lasting mark on its development. Today, the property spans 22.5 hectares of vineyards planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. The vines grow on gravelly clay soils under the influence of the Garonne river. In the cellar, the wines are crafted with traditional methods and aged in both barrels and amphorae.
The estate sells to retail. Export markets include Belgium.
