About the estate
The Château Languissan estate is situated on the heights of the Entre-Deux-Mers and was acquired by Lucien Sibille in 1919. In 2019, the fourth generation of the family took over the property to celebrate its centenary. The vineyard covers an area of 14 hectares, complemented by 24 hectares of forests and meadows as well as photovoltaic panels. The grape varieties Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon are cultivated on gravelly and limestone soils. The farm and its wines hold the Haute Valeur Environnementale certification.
