About the estate
The Château La Branne estate is located in the municipality of Bégadan on the Médoc peninsula, having grown from an initial two hectares to thirty hectares of vineyards. The property features three complementary soil types consisting of sandy-gravelly, clay-gravelly, and clay-limestone terroirs planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. Traditional viticulture is practiced with a strong commitment to the environment, resulting in a Level 3 High Environmental Value certification since 2016. The estate holds the classification of Cru Bourgeois Supérieur. Vinification follows traditional methods in the estate cellar, culminating in twelve months of aging in French oak barrels.
The eno directory lists 5 wines, mostly from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
