Château Giscours

About the estate

The Château Giscours estate is located in the Médoc region and features a terroir defined by alluvial Garonne gravel deposits forming characteristic gravel ridges that provide natural drainage. The vineyard is planted with the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot. Management of the property follows a committed and sustainable approach, with half of the vineyard area farmed organically and surrounding natural spaces such as the park certified as Natura 2000 sites. The children of Eric Albada Jelgersma, who previously shaped the property, continue the legacy and projects of the estate today.
