About the estate
The Château de la Craffe estate was taken over by three friends in 2021 and is located in Francs in southwestern France. Out of a total area of 20 hectares, the estate cultivates ten hectares of vineyards with the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Chenin Blanc, and Sémillon. The vineyards are situated on hillsides between the Isle and Dordogne valleys, in the extension of the Saint-Émilion hills. Certified organic since its takeover, the estate practices regenerative agriculture without pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, insecticides, or tilling. In addition to viticulture, the agricultural operation includes three hectares of fruit trees and seven hectares of wild fields and forests to promote biodiversity.
