Château de Bellet

About the estate

The Château de Bellet is situated on the hills of Nice, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and the foothills of the Alps. The terraced vineyards benefit from numerous hours of sunshine per year as well as marine and alpine winds that promote a slow ripening of the grapes. The unique soil, known as Poudingue, consists of Pliocene pebbles and very light sand traversed by clay veins. The historic estate cultivates the grape varieties Rolle, Braquet, and Folle Noire. The winery also offers guided tours, tastings, and events throughout the year.
