About the estate
The Château Barbanau estate is a historic winery in Provence, located at the western edge of the Côtes de Provence appellation on the heights of Roquefort-la-Bédoule. The property was restored in 1989 by Lucien Cerciello and his wife, and later acquired in 2022 by Romain Tchenio, who revitalized the vineyard. The estate has been farmed entirely biodynamically since 2018, following a low-intervention approach in the vineyard. Its production includes wines from both the AOC Cassis and AOC Côtes de Provence appellations.
