About the estate
The Champagne Veuve Maurice Lepitre estate was founded in 1905 by Maurice Lepitre in Rilly-la-Montagne, Champagne, and is currently managed by the fourth generation of the family. The vineyard covers seven hectares, with all parcels located exclusively on the Premier Cru terroir of Rilly-la-Montagne. The climate of France's northernmost wine region combines continental and oceanic influences. The vines grow on limestone soils featuring a chalk subsoil, which impart a characteristic freshness and minerality to the wines. The estate's philosophy centers on traditional craftsmanship, the preservation of family heritage, and the extended aging of the cuvées.
