About the estate
The Champagne house Champagne Veuve J. Lanaud was founded in 1919 by Henry-Léopold Tabourin in Avize, where it is located on a Grand Cru classified terroir. Since 1987, the Gauthier family has run the estate as winegrowers spanning four generations, cultivating twelve hectares of vines across seventeen communes under sustainable viticulture. All production has been certified organic since 2022, with all viticultural work carried out directly by the family. The portfolio includes a strictly limited Grand Cru specialty crafted entirely from Chardonnay.
