About the estate
The Champagne Pierre Laurent estate is managed by the Pierre family in the fifth generation and cultivates four and a half hectares of vineyards in the Marne Valley. The vineyards are distributed across the terroirs of Saulchery, Charly-sur-Marne, Azy-sur-Marne, Crouttes-sur-Marne, and Domptin, with plantings focused on Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. Laurent Pierre took over the house in 2007 and transitioned the viticulture toward sustainable methods, which notably include the use of draft horses for soil tillage. Harvesting is carried out entirely by hand to guarantee high-quality grapes for the production of the sparkling wines.
