About the estate
The Champagne house Champagne Lacourte-Godbillon has its origins in the family viticulture of the maternal and paternal grandparents, who originally sold their grapes to major brands. After early steps in producing and marketing their own wine following the war, the first independent harvest took place in 1968 under parents Jean-Guy Lacourte and Claudine Godbillon. In 2006, the next generation took over the estate located in Ecueil with a continued focus on vineyard work. The wines of the AOC Champagne denomination are crafted from grape varieties including Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
