About the estate
The Champagne Gremillet house is a family estate based in Balnot-sur-Laignes within the Côte des Bar in the south of Champagne. Its own vineyards cover 48 hectares on chalky soils with clayey marl, planted predominantly with 85 percent Pinot Noir alongside Chardonnay. The estate also sources grapes from around 80 partner winegrowers, primarily acquiring Chardonnay from regions such as Montgueux, Cramant, and Béthon. This production yields approximately 500,000 bottles per year, resulting in a range of champagnes defined by freshness and elegance. The surrounding area is distinguished by holding three designations, namely Champagne, Coteaux Champenois, and Rosé des Riceys.
The eno directory lists 4 wines. The estate sells to horeca and retail. Export markets include Netherlands, Belgium, United Kingdom and Italy.
