About the estate

The historic Champagne Gosset estate was founded in Aÿ in 1584 and is considered the oldest wine house in Champagne. Its origins trace back to Pierre Gosset, who initially produced still wines from his own harvests before the artisanal expertise was preserved across generations. Today, the estate manages around 140 hectares of vineyards within the AOC Champagne denomination to source grapes for crafting its characteristic wines. The wine style combines a distinct mineral freshness with profound vinosity, shaped by a traditional vinification method. In 1993, the house joined the Renaud-Cointreau family group and expanded its headquarters in 2009 with the acquisition of a historic domain in Épernay.
