The Champagne Éric Therrey winery farms vineyards in Montgueux in the south of Champagne as well as in Celles-sur-Ource in the heart of the Côte des Bar. The vineyard in Montgueux rests on a chalk and gypsum formation planted predominantly with Chardonnay. In Celles-sur-Ource, kimmeridgian clay-limestone soils shape the terroir, where Pinot Noir is cultivated as the main grape variety. These geological conditions and distinct vineyard sites define the character of the produced champagnes.
