About the estate
The independent family-run Champagne Christian DOUARD estate is located in the heart of the Marne Valley in the village of La Chapelle-Monthodon and is managed across three generations. The first vines were planted in the 1960s by grandfather Jean, with the grapes initially produced for Veuve Clicquot. About twenty years ago, the parents began commercializing under their own name, and for the past decade, the champagnes have been crafted entirely at home. The vineyards feature clay-limestone soils and have been managed for several years under HVE 3 and VDC certifications. The portfolio includes a cuvée from old vines made with ninety percent Pinot Meunier and ten percent Pinot Noir.
The eno directory lists one wine.
