About the estate
The family estate Champagne Belin in Essômes-sur-Marne traces its origins back to 1957, when Henri Planson abandoned agriculture to dedicate himself to viticulture. Over the following decades, the winery expanded through successive generations, with oenologist Olivier Belin joining the operation in 1997. Today, the portfolio includes various cuvées as well as single-plot wines from Meunier, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir grapes, marketed under the AOC Champagne and Coteaux Champenois denominations. The estate focuses on responsible viticulture with an emphasis on soil management. Commercial distribution is divided equally between the French domestic market and export.
