About the estate
The Champagne house Champagne Barbier Louvet is located in the heart of the Montagne de Reims and acquired its first vineyard plots in 1835. Since then, the estate has been passed down through seven generations and now cultivates vineyards in the terroirs of Bouzy, Ay, Louvois, Verzy, and Verzenay. The grape variety portfolio consists predominantly of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The chalky soils and the southern exposure of the plots shape the character of the champagnes. Operating as a family business, the estate applies meticulous care to vineyard management as well as precision in the blending and vinification of its cuvées.
The eno directory lists 3 wines, mostly from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
