About the estate
The family-run Champagne Alain Bernard estate has historical roots dating back to the 17th century in Hautvillers and was founded in 1912 by Arthur Bernard in Dizy in the heart of the Champagne region. The vineyards of the independent winegrower consist exclusively of Premier Cru and Grand Cru sites, and the wines are produced entirely from grapes cultivated by the estate itself. Only the first pressings are used for the production of the cuvées. The cellars of the house were entirely hand-dug into the rock by the founder. Traditional knowledge and craftsmanship have been passed down through generations within the family ever since.
