About the estate
The Caves M Plouzeau winery manages over 30 hectares of vineyards within the Chinon appellation. The history of the estate at Château de la Bonnelière dates back to 1846 and was revived in later decades by Pierre and Marc Plouzeau. The portfolio features organically farmed wines produced from distinct soil types including pebbles, clay-limestone, and flinty clay. The wines are aged in a historic tenth-century cellar located beneath the fortress of Chinon. Distribution takes place through a network of wine merchants and distributors in France and internationally.
