About the estate
The Cave du Château de Chénas cooperative in the heart of the Beaujolais and Burgundy regions was founded in 1934 by a group of producers and currently unites around 80 winegrowing families. It manages 200 hectares of vineyards and produces various appellations such as AOC Beaujolais-Villages, AOC Chénas, AOC Fleurie, AOC Juliénas, AOC Moulin à vent, and AOC Saint-Amour. Selected cuvées mature in oak barrels within a historic seventeenth-century vaulted cellar. The castle, built in 1821, characterizes this traditional wine producer.
The eno directory lists 4 wines.
