About the estate

The Cat-Wine.at Weingut Johannes Hofer estate is a family-run winery located in Auersthal in the southern Weinviertel region. In 2018, the management of the estate was handed over to Johannes Hofer by his parents, who continues to run it together with his wife Verena and their two daughters. The senior generation remains actively involved in supporting all operations across the vineyards and winery. The family cultivates and tends to many grape varieties, marketing their wines with a high degree of personal dedication. Their portfolio includes Weinviertel DAC wines alongside a variety of other styles that regularly receive awards at regional competitions.

The eno directory lists 29 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Gelber Muskateller.
