About the estate

The Cantine Spinelli winery was founded in 1970 in the hills of Val di Sangro and is managed by the Spinelli family in the third generation. Located in Abruzzo between the Majella massif and the Adriatic coast, the estate benefits from a natural amphitheater featuring clayey, mineral-rich soils and a warm, breezy Mediterranean climate. The vineyards are cultivated with indigenous grape varieties such as Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Trebbiano, Cococciola, and Passerina. Traditional expertise is combined with managerial skills and ongoing research to produce wines deeply rooted in the regional identity. Today, the estate exports its wines globally while continuing to cooperate with the top vine growers of Abruzzo.
