About the estate
The Cantina Tudernum was established in 1958 in Italy when 54 winegrowers united to form a cooperative. After a previous expansion, the vineyard area currently covers 350 hectares. For the newer vineyards, both local grape varieties such as Grechetto, Sangiovese, and Sagrantino and international varieties like Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay were selected. Technological innovations, scientific research into native grape varieties, and maturation in wooden barrels and barriques characterize the estate's operations. The wines are distributed in Italy as well as in more than 20 countries worldwide.
The eno directory lists 31 wines, mostly from Grechetto and Sangiovese.
