The Cantina Romanese winery in Levico Terme was founded in 2009 by the brothers Giorgio and Andrea Romanese with the desire to revive viticulture in Valsugana. The estate produces TrentoDoc sparkling wines and still wines including Chardonnay, Müller-Thurgau, and Rebo. The producer is known for the LAGORAI TrentoDoc Riserva sparkling wine, which has been aged underwater in the depths of Lake Levico since 2013. In addition to winemaking, the family offers accommodation in the historic Villa Romanese residence.
