About the estate
The cantina Il Verro estate in Italy was founded in 2003 by five friends who returned to their origins through a shared project. The winery cultivates 5 hectares of vineyards planted with the native grape varieties Casavecchia, Pallagrello Bianco, Pallagrello Nero, and Coda di Pecora. The vineyards are situated on volcanic soils with lava material between Mount Maggiore and the Volturno river. Farmed organically, the plots face south and south-east and benefit from significant diurnal temperature variations. The estate produces limited quantities of organic wines that reflect the traditions of the local area.
