About the estate
The Cantina di Monteforte d'Alpone was founded as a cooperative in March 1952 by a group of winegrowers in the eastern Verona area. Today, the estate comprises six hundred associated wine-growing businesses and is rooted in the historic appellations of the Verona province such as Soave and Valpolicella. The predominantly hilly vineyards feature soils of volcanic basalt origin. The production methods combine traditional practices with modern cellar technology to craft the estate wines.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Garganega and Merlot Khorus.
