Cantina d'Isera

About the estate

The cooperative winery Cantina d'Isera in Isera in the Trentino-Alto Adige region was founded in 1907 by 32 individuals under the initiative of Valerio Dorigotti. Following a crisis in the 1930s, the members acquired a plot of land in the Senteri locality in 1947, where the current winery facilities were completed in 1950. Over 150 members cultivate 200 hectares of vineyards and deliver an average of 20,000 quintals of grapes for the Trentino DOC and Trento DOC appellations. Cantina d'Isera is listed in the Consorzio Vini del Trentino consortium. The product range includes wines from the Linea novecentosette and Linea classica lines as well as Trentodoc and sparkling wines, featuring the Marzemino Etichetta Verde first produced in 1978 and Trentodoc sparkling wines such as Brut and Extra Brut versions, which were first bottled in 2005 with batches of 5,500 0.75-liter bottles and 500 1.5-liter Magnum bottles.
