About the estate
The Borostyán pince winery features a more than 350-year-old, two-level cellar system located in the old town of Tokaj. Due to the loess soil, the cellar tunnels are vaulted with rhyolite tuff stone, where the characteristic noble mold develops on the stonework. The estate produces traditional Tokaj wine varieties aged in oak barrels, including Furmint, Hárslevelű, Sárgamuskotály, Szamorodni, and Aszú. Visitors can participate in guided wine tastings featuring different flights paired with traditional food offerings. The facilities provide spaces for tastings, wine consumption, and direct sales to guests.
