About the estate
The historic Borgogno estate was founded in Barolo in 1761 and currently manages a total of 60 hectares of vineyards. The vines are cultivated in renowned sites such as Liste, Cannubi, Fossati, and San Pietro delle Viole, alongside plots in Madonna di Como and the Colli Tortonesi. The portfolio includes traditional appellations such as Barolo DOCG and Colli Tortonesi DOC. Operating in accordance with sustainable principles, the winery follows organic farming guidelines and strictly avoids chemical fertilizers and herbicides. The wines are traditionally aged in large Slavonian oak casks and cement vats.
The eno directory lists 18 wines, mostly from Nebbiolo and Barbera.
