About the estate
The Bodegas Protos winery was founded in 1929 and has from the beginning focused on the strategy of quality as a top priority and the brand as a competitive advantage. Early wines from the years preceding the foundation were awarded a gold medal at the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition. The estate's wines are represented in the Cigales DO, Ribera del Duero DO, and Rueda DO denominations. Since opening its doors to the public in 2009, the winery has developed into one of the most visited destinations in the region.
