About the estate
The Bodega Los Palomares estate was founded in 1964 by Don Nicolas Rey and is managed today by his three children. The winery is located in the municipality of Valdevimbre in the center of the province of León, where viticulture takes place at an average altitude of 800 meters above sea level. Operating within the Denominación de Origen León appellation, the winery combines a deep tradition in producing Prieto Picudo rosé wine with technological innovation in other wine styles. Investments in modern facilities and structural updates enable strict quality controls during the winemaking process. The estate's facilities also feature a traditional underground cave typical of the region as well as a barrel room.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Verdejo and Prieto Picudo. The estate sells to distributors.
