About the estate
The family-owned Bodega Barco las Culebras is located in Pesquera de Duero within the Spanish province of Valladolid and belongs to the Ribera del Duero denomination. Founded by Víctor Alonso, the estate manages twenty hectares of its own vineyards situated at an altitude of nine hundred meters in the pago de Finca Llano Santiago. The exclusive use of the native Tempranillo grape variety forms the basis for the characteristic and artisanally crafted wines. For vinification, the winery relies on the manual harvesting of the grapes as well as aging in French and American oak barrels.
