About the estate
The Bodega Antigua de Azenari, S.L estate is located in the traditional wine district of Hormilla in Rioja and is managed in the fourth generation by the brothers Eusebio and Enrique Fernández García. The family has dedicated its work to agriculture since the early 20th century and decided in 2004 to unify wine production from cultivation to commercialization under a single brand. The vineyards are situated across several municipalities within Rioja Alta, including Alesanco, Briones, Alesón, Huércanos, Arenzana, and Hormilla. Winemaking combines traditional concrete vats and modern stainless steel tanks to produce parcel-specific wines from grape varieties such as Tempranillo, Garnacha, Maturana, and Viura. The wines are commercialized directly by the winery.
