About the estate
The Azienda Vitivinicola Pievalta estate was established in 2002 by Barone Pizzini in the Castelli di Jesi to explore the potential of the Verdicchio grape variety. The property covers a total area of 44.1 hectares, with 30.4 hectares of vineyards farmed biodynamically across Maiolati Spontini, Montecarotto, San Paolo di Jesi, and Cupramontana. The project is directed by winemaker Alessandro Fenino, who manages the estate alongside Silvia Loschi. The production includes wines under the Castelli di Jesi Verdicchio Riserva DOCG, Marche IGT, Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi DOC, and Verdicchio Riserva DOCG Classico appellations.
The eno directory lists 5 wines, mostly from Verdicchio.
