About the estate
The Aufranc estate was acquired in 1935 by Léon Aufranc and is situated in the Fleurie region on sandy granitic soils. Today, the winery spans a vineyard area of twelve hectares, with viticulture having become the primary agricultural activity in 1970. The operation has applied the Terra Vitis agro-ecological approach for over two decades to produce quality wine while preserving the environment. Traditional methods of vineyard cultivation and winemaking are sustained through the transmission of ancestral expertise and regular professional training.
