About the estate
The Andert - Wein estate cultivates a vineyard area of 4.5 hectares in Pamhagen within the Neusiedler See wine region. The vines grow on chernozem soils with a loamy sand B-horizon. The winery has been operating biodynamically since 2003 and uses exclusively teas and biodynamic preparations for plant protection since 2016. Cultivated grape varieties include Zweigelt, St. Laurent, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Gris, and Neuburger. Harvesting is done exclusively by hand, followed by spontaneous fermentation and maturation in wooden barrels. Wines from the estate are available under the Neusiedlersee DAC denomination and are exported internationally.
The eno directory lists 13 wines, mostly from Zweigelt and Cabernet Sauvignon. The estate sells to retail. Export markets include Germany, France, United Kingdom and Hungary.
